Of course, cos it's not a working card ;)

3rd party vendors only having "mock-ups" at this point, isn't particularly encouraging from an availability standpoint. It's looking more and more like the "uber cards" from nVidia and ATI won't actually be available until late June or July.

I don't know. At least it seems that's not even a prototype from Asus, gigabyte didn't release any date, so you are perhaps right. But well, i do hope to see some X800/6800s on shelves in may.

This isn't even a mock-up, it's a (very bad) artist's rendition using

(1) a 5900XT PCB,
(2) a NV40 reference HSF assembly and
(3) lots of funky CG caps.

It would be quite  if it wouldn't make it's round on various news site on the net as an Asus NV40 pic as we speak.

Well, seeing sites post it is still pretty damn .

Those pictures could be old, I'd assume AIB partners have their designs ready -- availability in 2/3 weeks? Yes I'm still betting on that timeframe ;)

Is availability of the ultra in 2-3 weeks, or the non-ultra? (I guess we'll know in what, 12 hours or so?)

I just want to point out that the OP's pics were indeed very close to, or exactly, the NV40's relative size, judging by the leaked [H] pics. Sure, nV 'Shopped the logo, but the rest looks reasonably close.

Not sure how that helps determine "hugeness," but there you are, doubters. ;)
