$100 more for a 50 MHz increase on the memory? That doesn't seem right. The 6800nu should be a negligible amount slower then the Ultra version with those specs.

Look pretty much like the reference board except with blue LEDs and the ASUS name on it.

Look at that picture, it's a good 4-5 inches bloody wide! It's HUGE!

So .... switching to a newer silicon process just requires buying a smaller monitor?

THIS? No way. The heatsink may look familiar, but the whole PCB layout is messed up. Notice the totally random placement of capacitors? They're sprinkled all over the board, hell, there are even caps where the DVI / VGA connectors are supposed to be. :?

The caps & pcb layout are presumably just placefillers & the main thing is the hsf design.

Does that look like there is an underneath hsf too or is that just a reflection off the surface?
