The Complete List of PC Ray Traced Titles with Classification

The RT lighting is by far the most noticeably graphical upgrade compared to PC1 and it really affects the gameplay as well. Because for dark rides, you really need that otherwise they are bright rides, just like in PC1. People had to switch to night time to make it work and even then it wasn't ideal.

I'd say the RT GI is an absolute must in this title.

Added Flight Simulator 2024, which is launching with ray traced shadows. Added Dragon Age The Veilguard which launched with ray traced reflections and ambient occlusion.

Added Frostpunk 2, Lego Horizon Adventures, Incursion Red River, Palworld, Project Borealis: Prologue, Life Is Strange: Double Exposure, Spirit of the North 2, Funko Fusion, MechWarrior 5: Clans under the list of Software Lumen titles.

Cyberpunk is in desperate need of a texture pack. Would give the path tracing a lot more punch.

Edit: actually it looks like terrible video/YT compression.

That comparison is quite misleading.

They are comparing old version with new version with RT in that video. In this update non-RT lighting and overal graphics has been updated as well. There is not much difference while comparing RT and non-RT on same version, only RT reflections on some maps are noticeable

0:00 - Cyberpunk 2077
3:26 - Alan Wake 2
6:22 - Black Myth Wukong
8:22 - Resident Evil 4 Remake Path Tracing Mod
11:17 - Resident Evil 2 Remake Path Tracing Mod
13:15 - Unreal Engine 5.3 Path Tracing (Desordre)

I still can not understand why the Path Tracing is not favored by devs studio compared to Ray Tracing. It works much better. It's much more realistic.
Certainly because PT ask more resources than RT and it is not playable on most configuration. But ot doesn't asking that much more comparated to the RT and can be optimized.

Cyberpunk 2077 with new optional graphics modifications that blur the lines between video game and reality utilizing advanced real time Path Tracing and dynamic color grading.

wow, I was only trying gray zone warfare new update last night and it's now running worse than ever for me and is not in the same universe visually as that and I know how PT cp77 runs for me and it's way better than Gray zone even before the new update.

So that's a first game which require DXR support then. 6 years after it was launched, we're at the end of a 3rd DXR h/w generation. Could've been faster I guess if consoles would have a better RT h/w implementation.

Somehow the visuals in Indiana Jones don’t look that great to me. Will wait for review footage but the coverage I’ve seen so far looks pretty last gen. It might be the character models.

I'm going to guess that the game will just have ray traced shadows. It's probably one of the easier "wins" for ray tracing that should give it a more cinematic look. You can have nice soft shadows and everything. Hoping id software had some tricks up their sleeves to get really nice performance out of it. Makes me wonder about Doom the Dark Ages.

It looks a bit weird, as if there's not enough precision in lighting or maybe the lighting needs some manual tweaking which they didn't do. Reminds me a bit about Watch Dogs which looked okay during the night but fell apart during day time.
That being said though some areas shown in promo materials look rather impressive.
I'm also fairly sure that we haven't seen the "full RT" visuals yet.

Metro Exudos Enhanced had HW RT as requirement too:
