The Big Forza 2 Thread *

That looks really good :D . Again, its not GT photorealistic kind of visuals *shifty eyes*, but its nice enough for me not to b!tch about (*hint* :p )

Kind of where I am at... although I reserve the right to complain :p It is looking passable. I expected more from a MS 1st party but the graphics serve the purpose of the game very well.

Looks empty.

Nice car model/models, effects, and what not but simply a very plain and empty environment. I was really taken with PGR3 due to the amount of detail in the environments as I believe that an environment does more to justify a game graphically than a host of other areas.

Well lucky for you, PGR4 is coming out in around 6months.

Me? I can't wait to start building, tuning and racing cars with F2.

You can't add cityscapes to FM2 because they're race tracks not cities...it's a different kind of game.

I wasnt suggesting adding city scapes to the game but using PGR3 as a showpiece for what Im saying. When I look at the pics I see very good car models and some rather good lighting but bland backgrounds. Im not saying that it looks bad or anything of the like but my preference is for a full active background (yes even when simulating speeds of 150 mph).

Hmmm. Why is the reflected sky brighter than the actual sky... Sigh...

[edit]

but yeah looks very good otherwise.
Front bumper of that wrx looks excellent, but the rest of the reflection gets far too bright. It shouldn't be solid white.

What if the sun is "behind" the camera, that would create a brighter reflection than the sky color behind the car. It also seems to be correct looking at the shadow angles.
