I wish my other predictions were right.Eurogamer doesn't seem to be that enthusiastic.. any other liveblogs?
Come to think of it, the event would probably be live streamed if there was a price announcement. So either it's launching in Q3, the price is rather high... or.. there is no price at all.
If there is a price 249-339 is where it's at!
we have partnered with Samsung, who will provide PSVR with an industry leading.. 1920*1080... pentile display!"
So sony doesn't have motion controls out of the box or positional tracking . Going to be interesting to see what happens with this thing ..
In regards to Battlefront-VR, if I had to guess, they're probably going to have fixed position, turret-style action where you stand and shoot in selected spots in trenches, gun turrets, or sit in cockpits for AT-ATs and ships. It'd allow them to skirt the FPS movement motion sickness issue and keep the development time/cost sensible.
I hope thats the price for the full bundle and that the will be indeed selling the VR separately and cheaper than the mentioned priceI have a camera and don't need two. Lots of people have Move and don't need more. Makes sense to sell them all separately, then offer bundles for those who don't have camera and Move.
well a dual shock is actually like a move controller. as for the camera, in my country they sold a lot of bundles with camera at launch, and i would not like to be forced to buy a more expensive PSVR because of the psmove included in the box.
