So does NEC producing the R500 mean TSMC is providing a PPU?

Whats amazing is that there are thousands of people involved in the design and fabrication of the PS3, X360 and NRev, all around the world who know EXACTLY whats in the system they're involved in and whos making what, and no one here does...

or I should say no one here admits to knowing. :devilish:

The NDAs must be ironclad at risk of death!

I Believe that the third chip will be a multipurpose chip, but not a PPU.

MCPX+Live Control.

The MCPX of Xbox makes the sound of the system and controls de Southbridge. The most probable thing is that the third chip in X360 will control the sound, the southbridge (USB WiFi and USB 2.0) and it will work like a TCPA chip for Xbox Live.

I would prefer a general/multi purpose, or at least a programable PPU, too.
