Konami just confirmed.
Konami is committed to new Silent Hill titles, however the embryonic ‘Silent Hills’ project developed with Guillermo del Toro and featuring the likeness of Norman Reedus will not be continued.

In terms of Kojima and Del Toro being involved, discussions on future Silent Hill projects are currently underway, and please stay tuned for further announcements.

It was enough to give me the heebie geebies.

I think if I played that game in VR or AR I think I would never sleep well. I think AR would worst, because then you'd be seeing it in your own home setting.
 
Looks very nice. The Keyboard+mouse fast paced movement ruins the immersion btw. One of the things they did great with P.T was that the camera mimicked the movement of a human being.

Someone wrote some pretty nice story based on P.T btw :)

I was expecting to get some clarifications during this E3 about Kojima leaving Konami. Or at least I hoped it was just him trolling only to tell us he is still working on it.
The whole situation is still wrapped in mystery

yup, i was also expecting a clarification or a shameless "Bwaaaahahahhaha" from Kojima but looks like its for real :-/
 
If it was already there, they won't remove it. But if you can't download the demo anymore.

BTW, if you have it installed, your PS4 is supposedly worth more.
