Resistance 2

Seems a lot of you folks are really confused.

Qore has the Beta as a Bonus. It is not the only way to get into the Beta, and you are paying for the content in Qore (videos, screens, interviews, articles) just as you would with a magazine. The Beta is a bonus.

You can also get into the Beta via Pre-Order and Sign Ups (through the GamePro sign up).

Secondly, this is the private beta. There was no monetary contribution at all involved in this portion of the beta, as the individuals were selected due to PSN activity, play time, membership length at myres, etc.

Nebula - I really don't understand how being in a beta can ruin a game for you. Your purpose in a beta (especially at this stage) is to find and report bugs, and provide the developer with crucial feed back (as well as information based on server side performance, etc). Your job is not to play through the game and expect a finished perfected experience. It still blows my mind when people complain about bugs and issues in beta tests.

Well... some like me may feel that getting involved in the R2 beta help to create a product that suits me. It's totally worth my time since I spent 80-90% of my PS3 gaming time in RFOM (when I'm not listening to music).

In any case, there are more than one ways to get into the betas. Some of these routes are free. And you don't have to subscribe to Qore, only buy the issue (US$3) that interests you.

I support Qore in the hope that we have a meaty interactive magazine at the end of 6 months. I think an online gaming network deserves some more human touch, instead of the same old CTF or killing sessions (Co-op or competitive) every day. I kinda like Veronica Belmont bringing me the latest Playstation news and happenings. She looks good and personable enough (more human than pretentious pr0n stars and models).

It also gives me peace of mind in that I am guaranteed a spot in all the betas that interest me. Without Qore, even if betas could be free, I most likely could not get in.

The only short fall in Qore now is the format. I feel that they can go deeper when exploring a theme, and also more community oriented in future issues. Can't wait for Home to go public with Qore as the community magazine.

MP gameplay for people not lucky enough to be in the beta !( me included)
Looks really different from the first one in terms of visuals. that building reminds me of Bioshock!

To the people in beta: How are the bugs reported? Are you supposed to mail them later, describe circumstances and all, or do they provide some tool to send a snapshot of the game state at the time of the bug? or is it a simple a questionnaire you fill up at the end?
I have not been a part of a beta, so asking for general knowledge.

Isn't the R2 beta also for fine tuning the gameplay and balancing the weapons? I would love to be in this beta. I tried to become a beta tester for Sony, but they were no longer looking for volunteer's at that time. A few of my clanbuddy's did get in that way, and were invited into the private beta yesterday.

I AM A VERY HAPPY MAN, I AM IN THE RFOM2 BETA TEST. FOR ALL THAT KNOW ME ON HERE WILL UNDERSTAND HOW HAPPY I AM.

YEPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE :D

Congratulations. When private beta first started, I figured that despite my countless hours playing Rfom, I wouldn't get into the private beta. So I thought I just play some other games until the public beta and not worry about getting into the private beta. But constantly seeing people around me getting invited is really starting to bring me down. I hate wanting things I can't have.

How do you get in, random invites? I was invited into the Warhawk beta via GAP, is this similar or restricted to heavy R1 players?

I don't know the exact process and selection criteria. Initially it started with Insomniac employees, friends, family, myresistance mods, heavy users, clans, etc. The beta seems to be expanding every few days. I have seen player posts from EU, US and Canada claiming that they are in. So it sounds like a worldwide beta.

Lots of girls with sticks. Is it good? Or can't you comment?

Actually, I can't decide yet. That and also I can't talk. :(

According to James Stevenson, even the public beta invites will be released over time, if you dont preorder or subscribe to Qore. I wonder how they select who gets in first.

Found this project Abraham Video, Has Nathan in it:
[gt]39313[/gt]

So, is this all happening before R1 ? So, he was infected even before he went to England? and not in that cutscene where all those insects enter his mouth? or is this after R1 and happeining in Iceland?
I think it is before R1, but then that means Nathan was infected before he went there, or is the injection some Vaccine they developed to combat infection? So, these guys knew about the Chimeran traits and infection details beforehand.

That all happens before R1. Nathan was given JUST a vaccine to make him "immune" but like all vaccines, it does have traces of the 'virus'.

Other people at www.projectabraham.com were given much more...interesting injections.

You'll have to watch them all, I won't spoil it. Click the screen and load up the vids, you can drag and drop them into the tape player.
