I agree with this except that the graphics didn't impress me either.
Curious to know what kind of graphics does impress you? Really interested in hearing your answer.

I completely agree for the control, I got completely turn off yesterday (after another try to get caught in the game/gameplay) when I realize that the reticule wouldn't even keep pace with a zombie walking!!! close to me.Tried the demo not impressed at all.
Graphics where not particularly impressive, average on all regards.
The controls where way to slow for my liking (even at max sens). Not being able to aim while moving, the mindless zombies, the decade old inventory interface, all in all the game felt to me like a old game underneath, that has been repacked in a prettier shell, meaning that the gameplay felt like it was very old, but the graphics where up to date.
Definately passing on this game.
There's a nice comparison between the PS3 and X360 version below. Not only does the X360 version look more detailed and sharper, it also seems like some of the models have higher polygon counts. Of course the framerate is smoother too.

1 quick question about controls, can I move and shoot at the same time? I know that they added some new control cheme where you can strafe...
I'm SO happy you CAN'T move while shooting in RE5. Would have turned it into just another first/third person shooter IMO.
UK mag: Resident Evil 5 is less than 8 hours long
Wow 80 minutes of cut scenes, that's pretty sweet. Hopefully the game will take about the same time it took to complete RE4.
