Resident Evil [2026]

It hasn't been revealed yet. But come on. Capcom are really gonna have the audacity to ruin a classic by cutting corners as usual.

You know Capcom like churning out a lot of slop. Their prior remakes changed so much, the B scenario may as well have been left out entirely, and every new sequel these days is convoluted and rather hard to understand, let alone like.

Can you just imagine all the missing enemies, rooms, weapons and dialogue?

Meh.

REX engine is the RE Engine or is it an entirely new thing?

I am going to follow this closely but I'd like a RE Veronica game, 'cos I never ever played the original.

Funny enough just finished The Village and I liked it but for the first 30 minutes I thought it was slow and clunky Turned out Auto Aim was enabled and trying to stop me making headshots
seriously if you have auto aim why would you not set it to aim for the head.

Capcom (according to Dusk Golem) are NOT remaking RE1 yet, as they are apparently working on 0 and CV.

I honestly don't care for remakes. At all. They couldn't even be arsed putting in the second ending with Barry, saving Jill in the remake of RE3. This has always been the canon ending, too. There's like official prints that tell fans that Barry rescued Jill and Carlos as the city was about to be destroyed.

How anybody can like games where it's dark and boring, with really weak guns, I don't know.
