Damn they need to stop changing connectors, I'm glad i haven't bought a HDTV yet..

The article linked on the previous page stated that next gen HDMI supports an optional smaller connector for camcorders and such. The standard connector will still be maintained I think. Kind of like USB and mini USB connectors, we have both for different devices. I'd expect only small devices (camcorders, SFF PCs, etc.) to accept a mini HDMI connector, not displays, or most output devices.

Sounds more like relief that they actually have a target date than anything doesnt it?
