Bethesda Game Studio has been launching a new game every 2.5/3 years for 12 years now.
Their last game was Skyrim in late 2011, so it should be about time for them to launch a new title.

It depends on either Bethesda Softworks want a new Fallout or a new Elder Scrolls title.
Since Elder Scrolls Online just came out, I'd assume they put BGS working on Fallout 4.

And as predicted, the MMO craze that infected the Elder Scrolls franchise will postpone Elder Scrolls VI for an indefinite amount of time..

That'd be incredible. I can't see how it's possible though, you'd need some serious CPU optimisations for it to work at all. Also, how do Sony financially benefit on the sales of Steam games? Nice idea. I don't imagine the Valve/Sony relationship is the best either.

You do know there's Steam for PS3, right?
No, you can't play Steam games in the PS3, but the idea was to unify Steamworks between the two platforms.

A giant radioactive lizard will go on the rampage leaving a trail of mayhem and destruction in its wake.

Also some games will get announced and everybody will start feeling really excited and then gradually drift into a hazed apathy as they realise it's just more of the same with less of that and more of this.

But I'm guessing MS will try and hit hard with Halo and Gears.

Sony will be all VR and smug about the big name third party games they'll get on stage and then drop a UC4 bombshell.

Oh come on, that's never going to happen - Don Mattrick left Xbox months ago.

I have to admit to liking Spence, that guy definitely has passion when he talks about the platform.

Microsoft:

I expect offical price cut but at the same time they will not drop Kinect. They still don't have any AAA games for the Kinect, but try to show something (gaming related) for it. They'll announce partnership with Facebook for the "exclusive" VR content (just to give black eye to Sony). Exclusive content or timed DLC for Titanfall 2. Microsoft's stuff mostly got leaked while ago but I expect they still get much more positive responce from the press and public then last year.

Sony:

They are in middle of re-shuffle of the main company and thus I expect very little new AAA titles from them. Many more remastered editions for the Sony exclusive games (Heavy Rain, Beyond, Gran Turismo 6, Uncharted 1-3). They'll show mostly games announced from last E3. Last Guardian won't be there... nor Rockstar's Agent. Press is lukewarm at the best for the sony event. Public positive hype might still flow on.

Nintendo:

We got nothing and we're not ready to talk about our next generation handheld (or console hybrid system) or quality of life stuff. They'll show already announced games and few new Mario brand games. Most likely just Nintendo direct.

Ubi:

Ubisoft is my fav big publisher but I feel they are most likely to go under if they hit few bombas. I'm hyped about the Watchdogs brand, but it just might be that public is turning against Ubi style brands, including Assassin's Creed and Tom Clancy games. They have thousands of developers and very thin profit margins. I try to remain positive and expect 'em to show yet another new IP for this generation but the game won't be ready untill 2016+. They'' show both new Assassin's Creed games, Far Cry 4 teaser and more of previously announced stuff and DLCs for 'em.

EA:

EA is rock solid this year. They have very little bomba potential and seriously streamlined gaming portfolio. Only potential hits and nothing more. New Mirror's Edge, Battlefield 5, all the sports sequels, NFS something. They'll also push Dragon Age 3 really hard and might tease with next Mass Effect. A bit boring but such is modern AAA development.

I don't expect to see any new hardware news so it'll be much less intense E3 this year compared to last year. VR in it's various forms will be the main talking point but no big exclusive games for 'em yet. Plenty of tech demoes.

I would like for Eidos to release first short teaser for Tomb Raider 2, and to have much more extensive first look at new Deus Ex.

[I'm much more interested in Deus Ex, last one was awesome]

I really enjoyed Deus Ex apart from the boss battles which just seemed out of place in the context of the rest of the game.

M$ buys Nintendo. Mario, Zelda, and others coming to Xbox One. Miyamoto to save Kinect with games that are actually fun and creative uses of the device.
I see... If anything we can see lots of games.

Sony: I expect them to talk about Move and the return of series like Croc, Crash Bandicoot, and things like that. Lots of Morpheus is to be expected so nothing to comment there.

Nintendo: I think they are going to show the usefulness of the external screen of the WiiU in unique ways. And especially a new F-Zero game.

Deus Ex 3 was good, especially the extra DLC(tanker, prison) was quality work with its increased difficulty. But awesome? The global story was close to the lofty heights of Deus Ex 1 and I can't really criticize that but the telling could have been more direct. In Deus Ex 1 I really felt like being part of this conspiracy trying to get to the bottom of it while in Deus Ex 3 I felt a bit like a passenger.

Level design was not even close to the complexity and terrain size of Deus Ex 1 and the levels were a bit too static. The (weapon) gameplay was disappointing as I played through it with 3 weapons and never ever got the feeling that I should experiment there. What's the point of having more weapons if you can't really "use" them or don't get the ammunition to bother. Silencer Rifle only available by DLC was a joke. A weapon which was so essential in the original game.

Deus Ex 1 had a large variety of levels where you had to fine tune your approach. The atmosphere these different locations created was just superb. IMHO Deus Ex 3 felt a bit lacking there to me. I also thought the game engine/art looked a bit dated and "limited".

Quality work and a good time but not more imho. But then people who didn't play the original might not understand it.

MS: Fortzella glasses announcement and demo (going by the 9-24 checklist which gave a 2014 time table). Halo 2A announced and demo'd with Fortzella. New Halo 5 footage. Fable One. Gears One.

Sony: PSNow goes live. Morpheus launch date given. New Uncharted, GOW, GT6 (PS4),

MS/Sony: new skus with TB drives. GTA 5 and new story DLC (San Andreas Stories). Whole host of third party titles.

Nintendo: No ideal.

Hopefully this years E3 doesn't bring along a lot of bloated trailers with offline graphics, or things beyond the current next-gen console capabilities. And for the love of God, no high-end PCs posing as consoles SDK. :nope:

I don't think there will be a Facebook deal with MS WRT VR tech BUT something about MS and Facebook doing something game related feels right. If so Sony and Google will become just a bit closer.

Titanfall 2 stuff is too early and will remind people that the rumors are that Titanfall 2 will be on Sony systems as well.

Why would FB want to partner with MS when they reach so many, many more people on PC, Mac, tablets, and every other device?? It's not like they need MS's money.

Sony:
Press is lukewarm at the best for the sony event. Public positive hype might still flow on.
So MS have a VR show partnering with FB, but Sony don't have any VR showing and the press is lukewarm?

Okay, let's revisit these predictions in a few weeks. ;)

Release date announcements:
-Uncharted 4 (Q1/Q2 2015)
-Gran Turismo 7 Prologue (Q2 2015)
-The Order 1886 (Fall 2014)
-DriveClub (June/July 2014)

All but GT7:p will have new gameplay footage.

I expect to see some third-party announcements with more 'partnership' deals where Sony gets exclusive content. Maybe 1-2 full exclusives too.

They will most likely showoff Project Morpheus too, hopefully with some more info.

Uncharted and The Order seem too early IMO. GT6 for PS4 or GT7 Prologue seems right. It's gonna kill whatever interest is in the PS3 version but there didn't seem too much of that. Driveclub ... that is as good a date range as any I guess.

added:

I think we will see some Uncharted footage and while the tech used will be fairly well along the story and maybe lots of gameplay elements may not be. With all of the movement going on with that studio I wouldn't hazard a guess as to when they would do it but q4 2015 seems more reasonable I'm afraid. With all of the movement going on at ND it would be a tough time to make a date even with the error bars of 3 months. If the plot is the only thing affected then q3 or 4 but if there are gameplay issues that are still to be sorted out then that would push things out a bit more. Plot is one thing gameplay and gameplay QA is another.

Uncharted PS4 I bet we'll see, at least a trailer, even though I dont think it's a 2014 title. Sony does tend to show stuff really far from release anyway (Last Guardian, anyone?).

Sony's VR, I guess they could show, but it wont show particularly well, because you cant demo it on a TV. Anyways, it's not coming in 2014. But yeah, they'll surely show SOMETHING about it.

MS:
a) opening the platform to windows app support
b) new IPs and maybe a GOW sequel
c) new kinect 2 features and TV streaming support
d) high profile hardcore game that uses controller and kinect simultaneously
e) Quantum Break finally being shown fully
f) some tech demos of Directx12 to improve the image that the X1 will compete face to face with the PS4 in visuals
g) price cut
h) megaton DLC
i) exclusive game deals (probably time exclusive)
j) new partner deals related to media
k) HALO series
l) TV series-console interactivity
m) AR glasses

Sony
1) Project Morpheus
2) New ips and sequels of big Soby owned franchisez
3) new camera features. I suspect voice commands combined with HDMI handshake
4) streaming TV
5) Vita/PS3 opening (like always)
6) Last of us and Uncharted showcase
7) more from The Order
8)GT related teaser
9) some exclusive DLC content in some games
10) exclusive game deals (probably time exclusive)
11) more from remakes of old Psygnosis games
12) new partner deals related to media
13) PS NOW
14) PS2 and PS1 software emulation now supported
15)new firmware features
16) Last Guardian
17) ZOE 3 exclusive game

Here's one, I think MS MIGHT introduce a lower priced Xbox One, but without a optical drive being the difference, not Kinect.

That was from the Neogaf MS leaker anyway.

I'm not sure how attractive that would be. I'm not sure I'd want it.

This is more of a wishlist;
Info for FFXV, GTAV-PS4, DA3, TLG.
New IP'S.
Demon Soul's 2/Successor announcement for PS4.
White PS4.
