Playstation Move Games

Ehm, I think they were done or almost done already at around E3, witnessing the demos they had running there ... ! And it can't really end like Lair, as the game is out and well received. All they need is a good Move implementation, and I'm sure it's fairly easy to add to this game. The E3 demos, morevover, clearly show that the Move implementation works well already. You can see a youtube video right next to the title in the list I posted in this thread.

Huh ? Did they have Heavy Rain Move up for demo in E3 ? I thought he was only experimenting and toying with the idea. I am under the impression that the real work may have kicked in when Mr. Cage said they don't have time to do both the DLC and Move integration.

EDIT:
Argh, can't get Youtube working in this hotel.

There was a great idea in the God game, having the player gently pick up people while ahve to crush others. The tactile input of the button makes this a uniquely controller-based experience.

Yep , Anton and R.Marks still have a so much clearer understanding of the possibilities with the move controler.I also love how they clearly avoid gesture recognition to instead design on the 1:1 and reactivity.

I'd love a good Black and White for PS3. Obviously impossible, but would still be really awesome, lol.

Yes, I think they are smart to avoid regular gesture recognition.

I suspect an immersive Move game will derive user input from 1-1 tracking, so the game doesn't need to wait for gesture completion. Tweaking the 1-1 input on-the-fly in a context sensitive manner may work better. It's just a hunch after watching Sorcery. I have great interest in that game's technique, provided the E3 demo is "real".

There seem to be 54 games in this thread, so I'll be looking through them and updating:

http://www.vgbr.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=87926

They were listed in a more readable format on Gaf. I will check and confirm where possible, and then update the list.
The most interesting ones for me, by a long shot are:

Time Crisis

Sorcery

Heavy Rain

Toy Story 3

Gran Turismo 5

The Lord of the Rings

Deadliest Catch: Sea of Chaos -I don't know what this game is about at all, but the title says it all, crazy stuff-. Most probably a truely amazing game

LBP2

NBA 2k11, and the return of Michael Jordan, great

Michael Jackson: The Game, just out of curiosity, I admired his music but I've never been a fun. I'd like to perform that moonwalking move while holding a Move controller, it has to be fun

I am interested in the titles you listed, but some of them should be treated with caution. I loved Time Crisis 1-3, but since 4 I don't know - it neither looked nor reviewed great. I'd love to be wrong.

Toy Story 3 is only adding a small collection of party games.

Gran Turismo 5 is just head-tracking. Could be good, but the videos I've seen so far weren't all that convincing.

LBP2 will start with only the bonus levels that can be played in co-op with one player controlling the environment with the Move and the other controlling sackboy traditionally. It will become really awesome though once they've patched it into the create mode for the direct control options. Then we can basically create Angry Birds type physics games in LBP

I saw these vids at Neogaf, taken from a Danish festival. The angle and the violent energy of these kids is great for looking at the lag, or rather, the almost complete lack of it. It's very impressive, I think:

Is it? I would have thought they'd implement the Move as a steering wheel like Mario Kart or the SIXAXIS on F1?

RE5 sounds great - glad I waited now...esp as I just preordered @ £15 :)

I think I'm going to settle for a small selection of games @ launch, maybe rent a few, but I've got some PSN games that will support move via patches at launch, so I'll stick with those until LBP2 hits.

We'll see how Start the Party is before I commit to it.

oh no - this game is turning into a joke, first they decide to add 3d + now they add move support!!!
What are they thinking, it should of shipped last year without either of those,
and then ship GT6 with 3d + move support + other improvements in 2011. And then work on GT7 for the ps4.
Now it looks likely this will be the only GT title this generation, perhaps OK if the generation was going to be 5 years but we all know its gonna be 8+ years.
Bad management

Actually, I don't think standard Sony collaterals consider pure PSEye use a PS Move app. GT5 already has it's own steering wheel controller.

They should really come up with a different PS3 user experience (name) for natural interface games.

Here's a little impression of a title that I haven't been able to find much about but has been on the list of upcoming titles: Beat Sketchers.

I'm quite surprised though that this is the pack-in game for Japan. It's not quite a Wii Sports or Wii Play, is it? You want a pack-in to really sell you on the hardware concept, and although the drawing is nice, it doesn't necessarily show off the 1:1 tracking in space that well - it doesn't seem to have any of that overlay a brush or a sword over your move controller thing going on that, say, Start the Part has, or the obvious examples of 3D tracking superiority of a game like Sports Champion's table tennis.

We don't have a pack-in game at all, but I wonder if that isn't almost just better. If Move fails for Sony in Japan, here's the likely reason ...

That said, I'm happy to read it's a PSN title (I'm half hoping that all Move titles can be purchased from PSN) - I think my son, who's only two years old, is going to like this - he loves drawing already.

Oh, and this is apparently their Japanese commercial?

I'm fairly certain that Sony is rebranding the PS Eye and all of it's components (software) as Move compatible. I'm not even sure Sony will continue to sell the stand alone camera once the channels dry out. It wouldn't make sense, just sell the bundle only.

Why wouldn't it make sense? There's quite a few games that support camera only.

I agree that the starter pack needs to have a game - it seems in Japan they are doing a few game packs, in the US you have the sports one and in the UK Jack (as ever) - having said that I'm expecting a few free patches :)

I think there is roughly 6 games or so that support eye only. If Sony wants to push move, they'll eliminate the option of a camera alone all together, and I suspect that's just what they'll do.

Yes, PSEye becomes part of Move. The whole concept centers around the motion controller. The apps will focus on the motion controller. Sometimes, the PSEye only app may be more interesting. e.g., the original tank demo allows scanning of paper drawing and real object, the Move version enables drawing using the motion controller. The app should support both but I only remember them highlighting the Move drawing.

For a game that needs only PSEye, such as the Kung Fu Live game, I don't think it is classified as a Move game.

Their Move vs Others comparison chart also seems to focus on the motion controller only.
