I like the minimalist design its got going...very clean. The fact that there are no controller ports can allow the look to be very clean. I like it alot.

ugh this is for the gpu ? as with the 218 from the cpu it would hit 2tflops ... what horrible marketing speak.

Oh well

 Yeah, somebody of Nintendo is just busy changing their slides to 3.4 TFlop

anyone know where the ms duo port is ?

I suppose you can lift the front on the left and have the 4 USB2.0 and MS Slots there?

Bah, I really wouldve prefered a "Box" than the round nonsense.

... Was that everything thats gonna be unveiled during the E3 (Hardware-side)? Would love to get more info bout the GPU... and why there are two ethernet Connections for "Output"

From ign.com
May 16, 2005 - Right now at Sony's E3 2005 press conference, the president of Sony Entertainment Europe is showing The Getaway on PS3.

Details are still coming in, but the early word is that the thing is bloody amazing and looks like no digital recreation of London ever has. While the demonstration was devoid of driving or shooting, the game did display some incredible character models walking about a highly detailed English environment. Now, if only the power of PS3 can work out that poor camera just a bit.

They also ran the computer generated Spider-Man model from the actual Spider-Man 2 movie in real-time on PS3. Amazing.

We don't know much, but Sony promises that "Grand Theft Auto Next" will be a PS3 launch title. This information comes from some people at the Sony E3 2005 press conference currently in progress, but we've yet to confirm the report with our own editors.

We're hoping to high heaven that we'll get to see snippets of the game in the coming days.

"Square Enix is extremely honored to have had the chance to provide you with this technical demonstration of what the Cell processor can bring to the PLAYSTATION 3 and the world of gaming. We are committed to fully backing SCEI's new computer entertainment system and plans to bring the FINAL FANTASY series to the PS3 are just beyond the horizon."

I like the design, and the specs are OK.
The only thing that actually surprised me was this part:
Storage HDD Detachable 2.5" HDD slot x 1
I/O USB Front x 4, Rear x 2 (USB2.0)
Memory Stick standard/Duo, PRO x 1
SD standard/mini x 1
CompactFlash (Type I, II) x 1
Communication Ethernet (10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX, 1000BASE-T)
x 3 (input x 1 + output x 2)
Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11 b/g
Bluetooth Bluetooth 2.0 (EDR)

Quite a lot of connectivity options. Good.
The Ethernet stuff maybe suggests routing capability?

GPU has 22.5 GB/s to external dram + 35 GB/s to/from CELL.
It seriously lacks bandwith.
I hope G70 is reserving to us some other surprise..

It looks like a fridge standing upright. But it looks small. Smaller than 360 ?

Ok where are the demo screens and vid ?
