Yeah, looks good ! We should have a comparison video of the BF3 close quarters destruction and MP3 destruction.
The realtime change from the helicopter to bar looked cool. As for seamless transition from cutscene to gameplay, MGS4 did it the best. it was so smooth that it always surprised me whenever it happened !

Read the article. It sounds like a very cool meta-game built on top of multiplayer that will also be available in GTA5. I like it.

Basically it's a clan system. You can be a member of up to 5 public or private clans. If you enter a "lobby" you're automatically paired with your other clan members. Your clans can start feuds with one another that give exp bonuses etc. Sounds like a very smart way to add a little more to the multiplayer experience. It's just another level of persistence on top of the usual ranking and unlocks you see in games. This adds some rivalry aspects, where normal multiplayer games tend to have rounds/matches that are completely isolated from each other. Clans will carry over to their other titles.

Lol I thought the same thing.

It says they do have a DX11 path but it also runs in XP, so a DX9 path, but it doesn't support any DX9 hardware. I wonder why they chose to maintain a DX9 path. Seems like a complete waste of resources.

Oh and I noticed they listed 8600GT as the minimum. I want somebody to bust out an 8600GT and tell us how much fun they have

I still don't get it how Bullet time will work in MP. THey say that bullet time will activate for people in ur line of sight. So, what the F does that mean? that me and the guys in my sight will slow down while everyone else runs at full speed ?!?!?!
So, imagine, I am running around, someone looks at me and initiates bullet time, so I suddenly go in slow mo? then I try to turn around in slow mo, and the bullet time initiated by that guy runs out, and I suddenly get back to normal speed, my aim goes fora toss, I try to get to my sense and now another guy initiates bullet time somewhere looking at me, and again I go into slow mo, duck around try to save my ass from this slower time from nowhere !!!!!
How is this enjoyable ? All I can imagine is super annoyance because my movement slows down , speeds up randomnly !

I want to pre-order it in Steam. But I don't know if the game is censored in Germany. Steam typically has the censored version...so I am afraid getting a low quality product?!

Does someone of you guys know if it is cencored in Germany? I googled around but could not find any information...just that Max Payne 1 got finally off the index list...which could be a good sign!?

Indeed, nice to see the old 8800GT still going strong. (1080p might be a bit much but it should easily sustain a solid framrate at 1680x1050).

It is censored. The gratuitous volence is still in full effect, but you can no longer gun down civilians in certain scenes. Anyway, Steam is usually pretty upfront about that kinda stuff. When a game gets censored, the Steam version tends to have a little disclaimer which says "version with reduced violence" or something like that.

I would never buy recent games from Steam anyway. Way too expensive. Just buy the Steam key from someplace else and activate it using a remote proxy server. Did that with Saints Row The Third a couple of months ago. Saved me more than 30€ and I got the game as intended by its creators.
