It has been like that since cyberpunk2077 1.6 and Nvidia driver before 522.

anyway, using 3840x1600 does fix it!
and now i will need to find lower resolution that scales well to 3840x1600.
3440x1440 didnt scale well to 3840x1600 (it became stretched)
Are you using a non-native resolution with DLSS on top? If you have an Nvidia gpu, I'd just use NIS (nvidia image scaling) in the control panel to enable some resolutions that will scale a little bit better than others. Personally, I'd just leave the display on native res and lower the DLSS to performance than do image scaling + DLSS quality/balanced.
Or are you forcing ultra-wide on a 16:9 4k screen to get a letterboxed presentation?
