If anything, good on Nintendo for sticking to their comfort level and focusing on their strengths.
No, bad on Nintendo for not going Multiplatform!

They are. Nintendo has started shifting production to mobile platforms in order to have the largest possible adressable market. No, bad on Nintendo for not going Multiplatform!
There are few platforms now : AMD64 (PC, PS4, XBO), ARM (PSVita/N3DS) and PPC (Wii U)...No, bad on Nintendo for not going Multiplatform!
No third parties confirmed... Also Nintendo's content is getting less and less, isn't it? As it take longer to make games. For us, it's not about specs, it's not about teraflops, it's not about the horsepower of a particular system. For us, it's about the content. Nintendo is a content focused company, we create content that makes people smile.
So for us we're focused on bringing our best entertainment to both the Wii U as well as the NX in the future. So for us, whatever Microsoft and Sony are doing in terms of talking about new systems, that's for them to fight out in that red ocean.
R. Fils Aime
Someone has to inform him that Sony and Microsoft are focusing on the contents too...
From a business perspective I suppose we can consider Nintendo to be in a blue ocean whereas other devs (except first parties) are in a red ocean...For us, it's not about specs, it's not about teraflops, it's not about the horsepower of a particular system. There's little incentive to move from a blue ocean to a red one.
What if NX really uses ARM CPU for the SOC? How hard is it for 3rd parties to port current generation games to ARM consoles (assume NX uses the most powerful ARM CPU available now)?

So less than 1tf is pretty much given.
Oh my god, NX really uses ARM + Nvidia GPU!? Why don't they make a high-end console? It will be like the Nvidia Shield setup, however it remains to be seen if Nintendo is using the recently announced Tegra or one of the older versions of Tegra that Nvidia is trying to clear out. Not sure on how Nvidia+ARM TFs compare to AMD+x64 TFs.
Why don't they make a high-end console?
So we're taking this as fact; has there been an announcement I've missed, perhaps? Or if not, remind me please, what key evidence exists for this partnership? If it's just that rumored NX capabilities align with NV Shield's capabilities it's only circumstantial evidence, and not absolute evidence of NV's involvement; after all, streaming video, remote gaming and so on have been a thing since PSP/PS3 days.I'm not sure on how bad their partnership with Nvidia will turn out for Nintendo
Is it possible that 3 design wins actually include PS5?Nothing officially announced, but rumors floating around and from some decent places put Nintendo using Nvidia Tegra technology (ARM) and not AMD. It fits with AMD's 3 product wins being Sony PS4Neo, Xbox One Slim, and Xbox One Scorpio. It also fit better with the delay from Holiday 2016 to Spring 2017, as all console deals with Nvidia have been problematic in at least multiple ways.
