This silly diagram is so vague (and basically represents the old org chart, only with two rings now (one denoting software, the other hardware)) that it really doesn't say much...

Archie: it also says that SCE has its Semiconductor business taken away and integrated into SSNC.

SCE is not under Kutaragi directly: Kutaragi heads the parent Game Business Group, SSNC and more, but he does not have a formal position in SCE which is now a Software development ( games and tools ) group.

Oh no, if all that material on those swirling rings meets in the middle it will cause a tremendous explosion!!!



MagicBox had a short blurb on this: Sony Corp. announced they will adopt the holding-company (Enterprise) structure in 2006, the businesses will be divided into three separate companies: Electronic Hardware Maker (computer and home electronic products), Content Producer (film, video games, music), and Financial Company (bank).
