HEY! They read my suggestion! They added spectators! if you watch the video you can see people on the canyon walls.
They also added old wrecked vehicles + the big screen monitor. Have to watch the video again.............
WOW! Looks fantastic! Is this single player? The A.I. seems to take track shortcuts!
Yeah the driver AI is something Evo has been pushing for the game, it seems pretty good with waypoints and stuff. They also have an aggression matrix where the various classes have different attitudes toward opposing classes, ie Trucks and Rally Cars hate eachother, Dirt bikers are scared of the Big Rigs, Buggies are neutral toward ATVs etc.
I think Dirt Bikers are afraid of everyone or at least they should be !!
Haha, yeah I was just giving a general example. Edge mag had a graph of all the different AI traits, dirt bikers are scared of the trucks and rally cars but neutral toward buggies and I think angry with ATVs and other bikers.

After checking out that HD video, I have to say. This game looks incredible! It seems like alot of fun, I always laughed a bit when the car broke down, it seems that you can't ever put your guard down in this game. If some bigger car rams you, you are dead.

Although I complimented it above, I would say Motorstorm shots thus far have demonstrated a sparseness when in 720p compared the smaller thumbnails. Especially in the environment texture detail and geometry quality have been less fine than the thumbnails indicate. It does look good (especially the most recent build which seems a lot faster!!), but the difference between small/large pictures in past shots still sticks out in my mind (this is true of most games as well, although some seem to fair better/worse).

Well actually in the gameplay videos I've seen much of the quality is not reall lost.

This game has always looked alot better in the small pics then it does when viewed in full resolution, it's still a pretty great looking game though.
I'm not sure in which trailer or which footage, but from what the gameplay I have seen from the game - it does look this good. IMHO Motorstorm is probably one of the better looking PS3 games - if not the best and most impressive one at the moment (not going to include MGS4 yet since it's not going to be out for a long time). The lighting is very impressive, so are the textures and the action going on including the deformable mud etc. The drawdistance is also very impressive.
Also some levels are more impressive than other ones...
In the end though, it's still a major disappointment since it's only 30 fps. I'll reserve judgement til I've played it, but IMO 30 fps is just inexusable, no matter how the game looks because of it.
