Microsoft Counters [PS3] BD Movie Offer & Cuts Price of HD-DVD Addon

Microsoft will charge $179 for its add-on Xbox 360 HD DVD player in the U.S., starting from August 1st and will add five free HD DVD movies for anyone purchasing the device between August 1 and September 30. The consumers will be able to choose five HD DVD titles for free from a selection of 15 popular titles through a mail-in offer.

Again at the moment this is US only.

Player + Remote + 6 Movies for $179 isnt such a bad deal.
