Laser TV to topple plasma and LCD

I wish they'd come up with something already, because I've come to the conclusion I hate LCD picture, period.

And CRT is no longer practical, of course.

The problem with these Laser projection tvs is that the viewing angle - the biggest issue with rear projector TVs - won't be solved. It will still lose most of its contrast as soon as you even think of moving away from the front of the TV. So for me it's a no thanks. What's the point of producing colour like "wet paint" if it all dries up as soon as you move?!

Could be a con? The companies quoted don't seem to know about it. And from today's new, they are now being sued.
