It looks much better without the strong glare it had before. I could live with the fire and smoke not looking so good. The scale is amazing.
But there should be better physics in the game. The action looks too scripted, esp. the ground fight with the army. Wouldn`t look nearly as rough with ragdolls.

As I mentioned, I'm happy they finally showed us a huge and very lively game world as promised. They should work on some of the worthy suggestions/feedback like this one:

...plus the control issues flagged by IGN.

Make it fun (The graphics is nice enough for me as an average gamer). Oh and... yes, love the water. Delay the game if necessary. :devilish:

The GT footage shows some pretty cool camera angles and gameplay elements! I think this game will play really well, GFX is still alpha so reserve judgement for that later. :p

While I have no problems with the graphics as they are shown in the GameTrailers trailers (as they look good to me and I trust they can tweak some more since they are still in alpha), I do hope they address the issue of the idiotic looking AI troops that move in rectangles (maybe take Heavenly Sword's system). I also want them to show the game off as more of a sandbox-type game, since I don't get that impression from watching these videos.

The gametrailers video was ok. My biggest complaint is definitely the fire effects. The game seems to have some good ideas but my first impressions are to think they should have gone the quality over quanity route. It's seems like there may be alot of good / ok things going on but nothing I see that shows an aspect of the game that I would consider great and that's pretty much what seperates most games IMO.

Effects such as smoke and fire looks "2Dish" and not good. Water looks really good and so does the landscape (mountains) to a certain point. The ragdoll effect for the soldiers looks bad and they seem to die the same way (look at how their legs are in contrast to body fall direction). Lets see how this game turns out in the graphics department in 2 months.

Upon viewing the gametrailers footage I retract my earlier statements regarding how this game looks.. Quite frankly it looks great! I do wish they change the fire effect though.

This game would be better serve as a online only title much like how Warhawk is. Instead of jumping on to planes you jump on dragons. Instead of tanks, how about riding one of those huge rhinos? Instead of lame AI soldiers, how about real players running around the battlefield on foot. A online only team deathmatch? Yeah, that would rock since the scale of the battles is already huge.

Now going for the real game itself, the soldiers on the ground doesn't dig it for me. They are always in line formation from far away and suddenly when you close the distance and land, that's were everything starts moving. Running over a bunch of soldiers will get old very fast. It's seem that the dragon is immune to any attacks on the ground and there is absolutely nothing the soldiers can do anything about it.

I think there're other larger enemies (e.g. Rhino) and weapons on the ground. Moving on the ground may make an easy target for other dragons too. I'm keen to see how they play balance this thing.

The two "developer walkthrough" videos are so damn awesome! The waterfalls is simple incredible, the water is amazing and draw distance is insane.

Look at this image. The level of detail on this dragon is huge:

After watching the developer walkthrough it seems that the impressiveness mainly comes from the scale, detail and number of static buildings/structures. However in that specific level sometimes it slows down even though there's not much of anything going on. OTOH the levels with the battles going on in the air and on the ground seemed to be a lot less detailed in terms of the structures which makes it look no so impressive. One thing that stuck out that looked really weak is the ships blowing up. Why not just make them burn? It looked so retarded to see old style ships with sails "blowing up" into pieces and disappearing. Why not just make them burn then slowly sink?

In the previous video (not developer one) with the 1 on1 battle between the two dragons and chain, it looked pretty lame. The camera and animation of that specific battle looks really rough.

I like the mountain side one, the draw distance is phenomenal. Really need to watch a 1080p version for it if possible.

The fire ball doesn't look next-gen gameplay-wise though, that ship explosion with whole parts in fire is odd (unless it's a kind of magic).
