Image Quality and Framebuffer Analysis for Available/release build Games *Read the first post*

Ah, ok. No problem. I think DF's going to be occupied with WiiU for the next little while though, so HQ shots may have to come elsewhere until then.

At first it didn't look neony, but I agree with Laa-Yosh.. it is a bit neony and over-saturated (looking on a calibrated display). Even the pic ultragpu posted was probably 'enhanced' a bit. That said, it looks very good IMO, especially for an open world game. They obviously went with a more visually appealing game by using over-saturated/brightened colors compared to their last effort where everything was brown'ish.

Yeah it definitely has a more saturated color pallet alright but I wouldn't go as far as say Kameo grass shading, that's literally glowing grass.

Pretty certain it's 720p with post-AA, but there's some peculiar blurring/compression there. Analog capture?
I made this screenshots. The PS3 is connected via HDMI and captured with fraps. I save all my images as bmps, just converted to jpg for upload, but the originals don't look that different.
I'm not sure the game has AA. There are tons of edges with noticeable jaggies in the game. Probably just lighting/bloom and depth of field effects that smooth the edges as well.

Assassins Creed 3 on Wii U seems to be higher quality with the other consoles... Especially the shadow resolution which is noticeably higher then PS3's and seems to be slightly higher then 360's...

And to think that Mass Effect 1 was once praised as a real next gen game with high res textures... Time flies :)
