Image Quality and Framebuffer Analysis for Available/release build Games *Read the first post*

I'll ask this again just in a more broad way because I notice a lack of the 360 JRPGs on the resolution and AA list. So could some one take a crack at the resolutions on the JRPGs that are currently on the 360.

Just playing through Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 and it has AA of some sort to my eye, I remember in the unreleased speculation thread that the images showed "proper" 720p with no AA so can one of the resident pixel crunchers investigate when they have a moment or 3.

The demo had dynamic 2xAA to 0 , I don't know the final code.

Lost Odyssey is 1280x720 with 2xaa (selective i think)

Blue Dragon is 1280x720 with 2xAA, possibly up to 4xaa (hard to tell with the heavy depth of field in the way.)

The Last Remnant is 1280x720 No AA.

Tales of vesperia and Magna Carta 2 I'm not sure about, they both look 720p, but not sure about the AA, vesperia looks to have sometimes 4xaa, and Carta 2 looks 2xaa...maybe.

When I first saw the media I was greatly underwhelmed but it is great to see the PC port has higher settings to atleast put some load on gaming PCs. Most console to PC ports dont tend to have so much higher visual settings bar what modding does. And knowing this engine 20 min is enough to up visuals greatly.

Also Quincunx for PS3 becouse it looks quite blurry or maybe sub HD?

Hard to understand :???:

Played FIFA 2010 last night, and noticed 'dithered' edges in the start-up kickabout screen. It looked like unresolved MSAA samples, although the spacing between edge pixels was very wide. Any ideas what EA are doing here? I haven't found a capture that shows this so can't link to any images.

Mod edit : Feature comparisons are not the same as IQ and framebuffer comparisons. If you're not talking about AA levels, AF levels, framebuffer depths etc., your post doesn't belong in this thread but the tech comparison thread.

anyone checked Demon's Soul? Seems 720p no AA. But game looks very smooth though.
Definitely no AA in the original Asian release.

Can't really commit to a resolution, but as the usual signs of sub-HD rendering seem absent I'd guess it's 720p.
/grain of salt

PS3 or 360?

I think 09 used the same sort of method used in Harry Potter (Random pixel sticking up after the "AA" portion)

Sounds like they've used the same for 10.
