Halo Infinite [Fall 2021] [XO, XBSX|S, PC, XGP]

  1. the tofu-like white columns have been overhauled! The whole thing is overhauled! Vegetations, shading, reflections, etc.
  2. "rendezook" iconic to Battlefield series is now on Infinite!
  3. Sweet movements and verticality! Like a more open titanfall 2!
  4. CGI cutscene is back! (blur studio again?)
  5. still no info how infinite connects with halo 5 ending other than showing that the USNC ships are gone/dead/blown up.
Finally, a real Destiny killer.

a tremendous improvement (fixes) over the original showcase.
edit: worth watching this video at on a good 4K/60 HDR screen.

Incredible detail that you just won't see on 1080p screens, unfortunately at 1080p my excitement is more muted.

So can't wait for campaign release to play through it. I highly doubt any two playthroughs ever being or feeling the same. In campaign there are equipment upgrades. You call in vehicles at forward operating bases Once you takeover the locations. A lot of verticality to the game.

yeah i think that they moved in the right direction and this will add a lot re playability to the game. The biggest strength of halo to me was the fun i had with the sandbox and the physics. Now freely exploring and taking over outpost with different vehicles/weapons will be so much fun! Its like "here is stuff to play with now go and make a mess!".

Will the game run fastest on the RX 6900XT Halo Infinite Edition?
I wouldn't be surprised if it is, I'm almost expecting it to.

Gold and camo green... How the hell are we supposed to match our RGB setups with this?
I feel like without a good mobo setup where you can see teh graphics card sideways, these types of things are largely useless.
I over paid for my 3070 and it has a LCD screen in the top right that has little animations etc, but I'll never see it because of the orientation.

but yea, I still want it lol

It was a joke...
lol I know. I mean, just a off-topic remark on the whole RGB setup type thing because it seems to be a thing: it really just takes a lot of work to really get it to come out looking good through plexiglass.

I have a video card that needs one of this style of vertical mounting. Otherwise lol, can't see it

When I mounted my new PC back in August, I spent a good additional ~30min doing all the connections to get proper RGB lighting control on my motherboard + AiO WC + RAM + GPU.

Just to see it once, think to myself for crap's sake this is ridiculous, close the lid and never see it again.
I have no side-window.

lol me too haha. Makes the whole RGB thing quite silly as I assume it is likely used to increase the price point of some of the hardware.
