i can't find the article i originally read, but in it, they said they also sold 30,000 PS3's on the same day. we can expect the sales numbers for Japan in the month of march to be significantly higher than the previous months.

Aside from anecdotal reports, it sold fairly well. The first week sales at Media Create is 170,725 copies at the top and the hardware sales are like thisIt did? where?

I think they should take Gundams and a killer Final Fantasy style storyline.....make some outrageously badass characters and get a revamped, fast paced mechwarrior style combat going on...that would sell dont you think? Make the Gundams totally customizable with weapons, upgrades, and colors...etc etc. (Currently I am sucked into Gundam Seed)
