GRAW 2 (Xbox 360) - New Pics and Video

I wouldn't call it merely an expansion pack. GRAW2 has a lot better graphics with amazing looking effects (IMO GRAW2 is the best looking game on the market), it has a new single player campaign with 12 missions and some big gameplay enhancements (CrossCom2) and new multiplayer maps and coop campaign. It sounds like a pretty neat package. Of course it might be not worth 60$ dollars for you, but that's obvious not everyone would spend this amount of money on every game out there. I myself won't buy it either, but only because a friend of mine buys it and he'll lend me it in few weeks.

If you think about it, God of War 2 offers you 'only' the same gameplay in a 15 hours long single player and nothing more. Is it only an expansion pack? No.

it looks like GRAW 2.5 to me graphics-wise. (from the demos)

The screens do not do the upgrade justice.

I played the demo, it looked the same to me. Maybe if you play them side by side one can tell, but even the IGN review said the graphics and gameplay were incremental changes from GRAW1. If the story campaign could be played co-op like RS:V I might buy it for $60, but it's limited to a separate 6 maps for co-op.

I love GRAW type shooters, but I don't relish a yearly refresh ie. Madden style. I think we should demand more as gamers, at least change the story and location. As a consumer I don't care if you save time and money re-using the same Mexico textures every year (even RS:V used them in the first levels!).

Play the Multiplayer demo of GR:AW2, and then play MP in GR:AW1.

MP demo of graw 2 has realtime dynamic shadows for one thing.

to me solo mode of GRAW1 looks like multiplayer mode of GRAW2, and then solo mode of GRAW2 looks really better than GRAW1. Can't wait to buy it tomorrow.

Ive noticed that aswell. And GR:AW 1 SP is still a very nice looking game imo

I wish they had made the single player campaign be playable co-op. I loved this feature in Gears of War.

I just finished watching the review on GameTrailers, and imo its pretty disappointing that GRAW2 is still having issues with AF.

Just watching some of the clips in that video made me squeamish(for lack of a better term) :|

I honestly cant see giving the game a 9.1. Its a good title but nothing makes it stand out from its predecessor. Online and story mode are simple continuations with very little to suggest a purchase. I strongly suggest renting the title instead of buying.

Good game but has the "this is it" analogy to it.
