Be careful when using or purchasing power splitters. Some of them have poor quality that they will and have caught on fire.

I try and avoid them like the plague, but they came with various motherboards/drives. Like I have a lot of PCI-E to dual molex power cables, but I wouldn't use one unless it was for a garbage build or temporary.
