From reading the reviews, the "adult" content is a bit thin imo.
Just some standard blood&violence, bare breasts and an "interactive sexual intercourse minigame" which really is just bouncing moaning furniture.
Why be shameful, they already show some nipple, why can't they show two naked bodies. They would not need to show genitals, just do the scene from a "tasteful" angle maybe showing some butt back and leg...
It would have been nice to be able to control that scene with the analog stick, doing the back-forth-round and round motions analogically controlling the speed and "depth"
They can add the bouncing furniture and dropping jar to that if they want to, but those itself do not make me think "sex" or "adult".
Anyway, it's just a minor part of the game and by no means makes it a worse game. But that sex scene just had so much potential to make this game the first truly adult game. Now that content is just that same all other games that like to call themselves "adult" offer.

I think at the moment we're all a bit taken by the shock value that there is indeed interactive sex scenes in here, however tame.
In the context of the game, I'm sure everything will be put back in perspective and the scenes will simply help round out the personality of the game and that of our protagonist. A little texture, if you will.
We'll still have to wait a while before someone uses the DualShock analog joysticks for "rotation" and "depth," hehehe.

Reviews so far are all very positive, and what I've played of the game (basically just the demo) certainly has me sided with them.

It's good to see Sony formed another dev team of such quality. I just hope this game sells like crazy now so that they can continue being funded the way they've been for this game. I do have some doubts about the sales potential of this game, though. For whatever reason it was kept very low profile, and underhyped, untill very recently - even though it was unveiled as early as last E3, and everyone who played any portion of it since then has been singing praises. Not to mention it's being released close to a juggernaut like GT4, and just two days before PSP which is garnering massive attention in comparision.

These vids have me SO psyched to play this game. I've never seen anything like it, and never imagined we'd get anything quite this intense on this round of consoles.

That is the weird thing about censorship these days. You can have T rated games that allow you to cut people into little peices. But when it comes to sex, god forbid.
I've had the game for some time and I'm stoked for it. Since picking up RE4, I've never been so excited about games. Next week I'm going dutch:
Cold Fear(cause it is like RE4)
Tekken5(Dead or Alive SUCKS in comparison)
Devil May Cry 3(difficulty, bring it on I say, I thrive on hardness)
Splinter Cell 3(never played the others cause x-box was sooo much
better looking, i felt the Devs were not trying............until now, WIll support their effords bybuying the game. And look forward to a refined Geo-texturing method for SC4)
GT4(not much for racing but it looks good, this is my pure eye-candy game)
