Friday, but I'd have expected any PR announcements to be made by now if there were going to be any.

There is a Home developer session today. You're not going to see any announcements out of that aimed at the press or consumers, but it would be interesting to see what dev/tech details they might divulge there. Hopefully some journos will be attending.

Anybody seen this? Some of the best in-game graphics I've yet seen on these consoles, it is claimed to be ingame. Dare I mention the original Motorstorm CG trailer? Game called "Pure".

I wouldn't It lacks the more impressive and intense aspects of that trailer, not to mention the subtlety of its offline rendering quality. But it does look very nice.

Is there nothing of interest to come from Sony and Nintendo? Sony is very low-key, and Nintendo is silent, at least in the key reporting that filters through to the headlines.

Nope. I think there is a dedicated Playstation Event in March but I am not sure. This one seems to be strictly for developers (e.g., recruiting Playstation Home participation before the unveiling).

They don't usually announce too much at GDC do they? I mean, most info is really for the industry rather than the consumer, or am I wrong?

IIRC last year was chalk full of goodies. MS, Sony and Nintendo had big keynotes, Home and LBP were revealed, everybody showed off their '07 lineups...didn't they?
