Yes, it amkes sense to not exclude the dog barking, though that was more an example of the mic's sensitivity. The surprising thing is that game audio isn't being cancelled, and that'd be the one thing you could be sure should be! A person shouldn't be able to hear themself over another person's audio because that person's mic should be removing the sent audio asbackground noise. It might be a tricky thing to do in software which explains it not hapenning, but it's the advertising of the PSEye as having a noise cancelling microphone that annoys me. If it isn't actually cancelling the noise, don't stick in the promotional material that it does -
That's pretty much a lie. The PSEye just gives four microphones. None of the other features come with the device, and would have to be listed as software features in games that support PSEye.PSEye Pres Release said:New microphone functions
