1. Anything sony does is good and anythign MS does is bad. Anything sony does is funny, and anything MS doesn't is in bad taste ad will come back to haunt them. There's no middle ground, Sony's marketing has class and MS's doesn't.
This is what the xbox fans, developers, and people that are neutral are saying.
1. Jokes like this are all in good fun and come from both sides, both sony and MS. None of it is considered to be in bad taste by anyone that isn't a brand loyalist. This has nothing to do with marketing as it's not meant to target the general public, only those in the game industry. It's essentially inside jokes for media and game developers.
Yeah I think that about sums up this thread.
You still don't get it,do you? Cease for just one minute and look at the approach these two companies take. You notice Sony's approach isn't a directed action to where it belittles their competitor (a threat in simple terms). It is more of a caution. Now,if you look at Microsoft. They are sending out a directed action,a threat to their competitor. This is what's hurting their name, and it will haunt them if this strategy doesn't suceed.Do you get it now?Their approach is just plain immature, simple as that.
I still don't get what the problem.
Sony puts down ms every chance they can get. ALl companys do that .
Esp when your the under dog. You allways try and play it up .
