You have 2 offensive skills? 5 out of 6 defense is the way to go.

You can just create a resolution in the nvidia control panel. I made 2560x1080. I like the ultrawide look so I use it in a bunch of games, plus you can a little gpu performance (less pixels). Then I think you just have to set the scaling in the control panel to either no scaling or aspect scaling on the gpu. You'll get letterboxing. Works in most games though I think some games it doesn''t. Works fine in diablo 4.
you mean for a Cold sorc? 'Cos for the fire sorc I just have the Fire Shield, passive bonuses from other skills aside. Offensive are Hydra and Firewall.
All sorcs. You only have 1-2 offensive skills. The rest are just barrier and teleport cooldowns. If you have enough gear you can squeeze in an ultimate
Yes. Ice shards is my only hot keyed attack, although at times my gear made me need frost bolt for mana gen. My hot bar is frost nova, ice barrier, teleport, flame shield, deep freeze and ice shards. Ice shards and fire bolt enchants.

Blizzard with ice spikes seems to cause a lot of chill. And then we can deeps hard. Right now it’s so bad without being to stagger fighting bosses is painfully long because we will oom
You need mana cost reduction on focus, boots and amulet.
I also have legendary ability for a mana refill on deep freeze and Mana return for hitting multiple enemies.
Yea I am pushing for LHC right now. Leveraging double avalanche to proc and give me as many free shots as possible. It’s not bad and it works pretty good. With high LHC you get decent return on mana because of the freeze talent that returns mana on LHC.
Ya I run 40% lhc so it's reliable, but for shards to work you need everything a bad run of luck and it's 4 casts to oom even with reduction. So you have to be ready to teleport or deep freeze.

But seriously I've never had anything like this happen before. The drive is still working .... it just deleted everything on it. Anyway it was my oldest ssd a 700 gig one. So I grabbed a $50 samsung 870. This drive is really just for the os / office / cura and a few small programs
I've saw an article from one of the german sites stating that directstorage support is coming. Might be worth putting it on a directstorage compatible drive, but to be fair the game loads very fast anyway.
So the new drive came in and I tore down my pc. It was actually one of the nvme drives an MSI Spatium m390 . I have 2 other nvme drive sone of them is pci-e 5 and those two are what the games are installed on while the os is now on the sata ssd and then I have a 2tb sata ssd that I keep pictures and videos on.
Going to wait for the fall. I think I will likely be able to get a 4tb drive for $100/150 and then ditch two of the sata drives or maybe all 3.
Anyone exploiting game bugs?
i keep reading of exploits for D4, but im too lazy to do it. its very contrast to Destiny 1 and 2, where i very often exploit bugs / bad design to my advantage. I don't know why and how diablo 4 made me comfortable to play it like a normal human being.

So, I finally ran into the Butcher which I hoped would be a real challenge and it seemed like it would be since it has a massive amount of HP. Unfortunately, it bugged out and just stood there while I killed him. This has happened with multiple bosses and just makes for a disappointing fight. Bleh.

found the butcher once, I lasted 30 seconds. I guess you are clearing dungeons? That's what I was doing with my Rogue.
With my Fire sorc (I am just using Firewall and Flame Shield now, no more skills,
she is doing okay) I'm taking another approach.Some youtubers mentioned that they recommend completing the campaign first and then clearing all the dungeons in Inferno to get the really good stuff. For now I am just uncovering the entire map, without entering most of the dungeons -save for a few related to side quests-. Once I am done with it, I shall start with the campaign right away -still in Act 1-

It's hard to see myself playing this more after I finish the campaign. Playing this is just making me want to play PoE.
While the simplistic nature of D4 certainly makes it really approachable and easy to pick up and master, it just leaves me wanting something with more meat to it.
NOTE - I'm not saying it's bad, it's a well executed game, it's just overly simple, IMO. There's lots of better ARPGs on the market, IMO. Keep in mind, that I can understand if others feel this is the best ARPG for them...

Thanks , the drive is completely dead. wont read in a usb drive either. Never buying MSI again lol
