Dman I want that Location Free for my PSP. I wonder want the movies will look like when I download them from Connect? And Connect will also have games that can be downloaded for the PSP too.

The PS3 could still launch in the spring too.
Qroach said:This isn't any indicator of when PS3 will launch. Don't count on a spring PS3 launch.
rabidrabbit said:How'd you connect one to the xbox360?
rabidrabbit said:Would it use the xbox360 output for video, or would it have it's own video outputs (HDMI?)
rabidrabbit said:What benefits would there be compared to a standalone HD-DVD player?
rabidrabbit said:Would it be operatable via the xbox360 "Blade" interface?
rabidrabbit said:Surely it would not be possible to use it for games, would it?
rabidrabbit said:There just isn't a connector in xbox360 so that the external HD-DVD drive would have an interface with the xbox360 IO chips and whatever, is there?
Colourless said:Might be possible that the HD-DVD drive connects to a USB2 port as well as the Video out, and there is a HDMI port on the drive.
LAS VEGAS, Jan. 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- (CES Booth # 14200) --
Building on the applications for its LocationFree(R) technology, Sony
Electronics, today announced that it will be offering a software development
kit (SDK) for the portable broadband system so people will have even greater
choices for accessing home A/V content on-the-go.
The SDK, which will be available to programmers in the U.S. beginning
later this year, will enable software developers to adapt the LocationFree
software to stream personal broadcast content to a multitude of portable
gadgets, including cell phones, PDAs and music devices.
"The software development kit will empower programmers with the tools they
need to expand this wireless broadband entertainment platform," said Robert
Bartels, director of marketing for Sony Electronics. "By making the source
code available to third-party developers, viewers will soon be able to
remotely access their favorite TV programming on a broad array of portable
electronic devices -- almost anywhere."

the Vaio XL1 digital living system integrates computing with traditional home entertainment. Store and manage all of your entertainment content whether created, downloaded or purchased on disk. The XL2 version is an update to the XL1 that will be shown later on the floor -- it's the big sister to the XL1 media center system with a built-in HD tuner.

Sony is in a very good postion of offering a lot of features, but can the keep the price down.
I have read that interview, I know what you're talking about.pipo said:I'm pretty sure about it. They were talking about showing pictures on your PSP from your PS3 as a home server etc... But again, I can't find it.
Maybe it was in Edge or something?
