this was a great side by side compare. GTS is really something here. They've really mastered 'the replay'.
I think I know exactly what you mean : Lighting and general impression reminds me Driveclub with less details but same realistic lighting (I like) present in no other driving game IMO. I am talking about gameplay pics I have seen not this replay comparison.this was a great side by side compare. GTS is really something here. They've really mastered 'the replay'.
I found the difference in lighting between GTS and DC to be minimal, at times GTS seemed capable of reproducing or near reproducing the quality from DC. The difference in asset quality and image quality however was of both significantly higher resolution and texture quality. Even though it GTS is a plain track, it's a really good plain track. I have a hard time describing this.
Are these both direct captures from your PS4 Pro?GTS also takes advantage of the PS4 Pro, i would have loved to see a Pro patch for DC, they could have enhanced texture filtering and IQ a lot.
That said DC is still holding up well. But when stars align, GTS can look absolutelly gorgeous. Only big downside is shadows quality and flickering.

Motion blur and DOF help focus your attention on the cars while mitigating any perceived difference with the environment asset quality.I have a hard time describing this even though I see visibly more assets on DC. Perhaps it's just the blur, I'm unsure. But the cleanliness of GTS was apparent to me.

Oh and terrible sounds, breaks immersion a lot for me.
it does absolutely, and camera angles. But the cleanliness here is still of higher quality, if these are both captured from the same machine, I really prefer the crispness of GTS. It has some flickering problems, but aliasing is not an issue. With DC I see a lot of aliasing or something. It just looks of significantly lower resolution (it is).Motion blur and DOF help focus your attention on the cars while mitigating any perceived difference with the environment asset quality.

nice! This is a lot of fun for you I can see haha Thanks for sharingYes !
There's a lot of blur and DOF in GTS replays too.
most definitely. At least in the replays you've provided there.i love to compare games and see the strengths and weaknesses of each !
i'd say to my opinion that DC does more things technically in the graphics department, but at glance replays look more photorealistic in GTS for sure.
Lol im terrible for thinking the people in orange were in prison.
