Ah no AMD still isn't planning on selling their dGPs, the market is too sour and it'll tank their corporate margin.Let's see if anyone will notice anything this time at least.
But on paper they're the best ever been!

Kepler doesn't know much, he is just guessing based on past trends during the last gen, you know the gen where AMD pretended RT doesn't exist, he also claims the 4090 is way above the 7900XT, then added two imaginary AMD cards 7950 and 79703D to match the upcoming 4090Ti?!The leakers "who knew" like Kepler, also told in some posts that top cards cards are quite close in pure performance (in a 10% range)

In short, no, not even close to reality.
Why do you think they're imaginary? They won't necessarily be called that and I don't know if they'll match a 4090Ti, but Angstronomics claimed that there would be a variant with 3D stacked MCDs and all of their articles so far have been correct. They also got the reference card design right before AMD officially unveiled it:then added two imaginary AMD cards 7950 and 79703D to match the upcoming 4090Ti?!
The reference card appears to have an updated 3-fan design that is slightly taller than the previous generation, with a distinctive 3 red stripe accent on a section of the heatsink fins near the dual 8-pin connectors.
The tweet says that there will be more details soon, so it's possible we will get a beefy tease before the 3rd November event.Wow, that's earlier than I thought. Announcement and Whitepaper must be in October then, I presume?
I'm reading this as an announcement on Nov 3rd with reviews and sales coming in the next couple of weeks.Wow, that's earlier than I thought. Announcement and Whitepaper must be in October then, I presume?
How can they claim leader in perf/watt when a 3090 with 350W runs circle around a 6950XT with 335W? Using outdated games without raytracing is basically the Nokia moment from then.
BTW: Lovelace will be nearly twice as efficient. How exactly can AMD think this blog post is good marketing for them?!
This place is infested with silly greenies. What?
You and I have a very different opinion of what "runs circle around" means

Don't ever try to argue with them.

It is what i meant. Pure rasterizing performance is equal, but i dont pay $1000€ to disable raytracing in three years old games. And the 6950XT was released 18 months after the 3090.
Unless you're playing at 1080p then you are disabling RT in some games if you want at least 60fps, even with a 3090.but i dont pay $1000€ to disable raytracing in three years old games. And the 6950XT was released 18 months after the 3090.
You really don't. I've played most games with RT in 4K(+DLSS sometimes) on a 3080 and they all ran fine at 60+.Unless you're playing at 1080p then you are disabling RT in some games if you want at least 60fps, even with a 3090.
