I'd say... wait for it to be half-price unless you really are wanting to soak up all story info available and it's thus worth it to you. 
It's very short, nothing like Shadow Broker.
If you've played Bringing Down the Sky, there are definite parallels with what happens, and it's kind of a continuation of that, but unfortunately, BioWare misses the boat and makes no reference (AFAIK).
