Senua's Saga: Hellblade II in-engine announce trailer running on Xbox Series X
Actually, Phil was pretty careful to say it was running in engine but not actually on Series X hardware.
Yup it's been obvious for a long while. I also wouldnt be surprised to see one with no disk drive at launch too.So nvme afterall
So they obviously combine the CPU and GPU together in their Xbox One X vs Xbox Series X comparison. Its industrial design enables us to deliver four times the processing power of Xbox One X in the most quiet and efficient way
So next gen RDNA, is it RDNA 2? quite possibly now that VRS and Ray Tracing are confirmed.

RDNA2 is in 7nm+,so probably next-gen consoles are also in 7nm+.
Would be sweet to have a 24tflop console lol.So next gen RDNA, is it RDNA 2? quite possibly now that VRS and Ray Tracing are confirmed.

Depends on the clocks, the new CPU could be clocked around 2.2GHz.Also wouldnt a 8 core 16 thread zen 2 processor be more than 4x the processing power of a 8 core jaguar?
Feels a bit like 360 moment again. Last gen was truly, truly underwhelming.
Mid range cards + mobile CPUs. This time, it seems they are going top end again.

Sebbbi said:8x Zen2 cores is roughly 4x faster than 8x Jaguar. Roughly 2x IPC and roughly 2x clocks (conservative 3.2 GHz estimate). Also 8x faster for AVX workloads (Jag was 0.5 rate AVX, Zen2 is 2.0 rate) such as ISPC and Unity Burst
Sebbbi said:That might be true. But then again Zen 1 was already over 2x IPC of Jaguar, and Zen 2 got noticeable IPC uplift. So should be 4x+ in total with any reasonable clock rate in general purpose code. And of course higher in AVX/AVX2 code. So get that ISPC or Burst compiler ready.
But that's for the CPU alone, Microsoft's wording indicate they are comparing the GPU+CPU together. This could indicate a lower CPU clock than the estimated 3.2GHz in Sebbbi's numbers.Time to pull in Sebbbi's tweets into yet another thread ...
