Xbox 2 preview at GDC may not feature hardware unveiling

3 dies each with 2 cores.

There, said it.

If that's like POWER5, than it'll be 12 virtual cores. Deadmeat wouldn't be happy. Too many cores, too hard for developers :D

Another possibility is 3 cores, which mean 6 virtual cores. But what Deadmeat wants is either 2 or 4 cores. He likes symmetry :D

Is that pic representative of XboxToo graphics ;)
What does that 'meet me at the main and unexpected' mean? I know what the individual words mean, but the whole entence does not make sense to me :?
Remember, I'm not natively english speaking...

It must be some sort of code...
let's see, if I decode it... reading it backwards...

detcepxenu dna niam ta em teem

if you read it, it says (almost):

'Don't expect Xenon to be shown'

NO!!! IT'S THE FIRST IN-GAME PIC OF PHANTOM'S "CARMEN SAN DIEGO"!!!!

Heh ! "Where in the world is Carmen San Diego?", the old days.

If there should be demos, I expect them to be all CGI based just like the first tech demo on XB1, which will never occur to real time game play graphics.

Yeah but it will make loads of Joe Normals happy...

during the Xbox1 presentation conference 4 years ago, they showed both CGI demos and realtime demos on the then-new GeForce 2.

It looks like they are trying to make it sound like a street intersection. So I could say, "Meet me at the resturaunt near 5th and Jackson street." In this case, Microsofts main stage event and an "unexpected" surprise.

That's how I read it too.. though I can see how it could be confusing. They should have had a street sign up and to the right of the chick with those street names or something.
