I'm supposed to be going to MIT next year (Fall 2004) but I really doubt it.

IMHO, MIT would be a better bet for graduate school. I know of a few people here that turned it down for that reason--and they didn't want the pressure (although there's a good bit of meat-grinding here, there's just a better balance since the school isn't all engineering and hard sciences).

Most of my dad's side of the family is in Terre Haute so I've actually heard of Rose-Hulman.
