If I am right, Dragon's Dogma should be released for free for Plus members today (in Europe I guess)...I am really curious to try this game out...

Yup. That and Far Cry 3, both of which I haven't played yet. Should be good (if only I can find the time to play and frigging games).

PS+ is crazy...I am currently downloading Dragon's Dogma, Beyond Two Souls demo on my PS3 and Street Fighter x Tekken on my Vita :)

I must say that I am quite impressed with Beyond Two Souls. If you don't like the gameplay in Heavy Rain, don't expect to like BTS...as it is quite similar, although (imo) with some subtle improvements.

I am also quite impressed with the presentation, not of the first part, but of the second part which was actually quite amazing looking imo.

Can't wait to play this game.

Dragon's Dogma is quite good as well it seems. A bit...indirect...and slow when you play a Mage. Also no fast travel it seems...and I quite really don't understand the leveling or unlocking in this game at the moment...it seems that I have to 'buy' my skills.

Hm...playing Dragon's Dogma DA. Tried Mage, switched to Sorcerer...but I just don't like it and I feel quite weak. All spells take quite long to unleash and don't really deal that much damage.

Dies anyone has a recommendation? Which is the most powerful class?

Rangers are a good starting class. They are fast and fun in melee with great ranged capabilities for taking on flying enemies. Mage and Sorcerer capabilities get crazy late in their skill tree, but that can wait.

What Brad said is super smart. Mages are actually a little tough to play in the beginning. That said, you do level up fairly quickly. If you have the patience it doesn't take long. But bear in mind that later on you can also expand into these hybrid classes. So your Ranger can also learn spell casting.

Ok, this is what I did: I restarted and chose the Fighter first...until I reached the city at level 12, where I changed to Assassin: he has nice ranged attacks with the bow and I like the knives a lot for close combat...I wonder if Assassin is a good choice?

I don't like the Mage gameplay, because it feels so indirect (press button, wait until charged, autoaim, shoot, repeat).

At the moment, I feel quite stronger and don't have problems when walking on the street with simple grunts and wolves :)

What is the best combination for assassin? Is bow+knives ok?

i never tried assassin! ^^; I also never finished the game, so I can't tell you how things pan out. I can say, I thought that Ranger was a little underpowered compared to warrior and mage in the long run, but I never got the impression I wouldn't be able to finish the game, just got a little bored and moved on to other things.

I can also say, bow holds its own pretty well; not as powerful but if you're good at the movement controls you can control the fight... but don't over invest in early weapons. The game makes you replace your weapons to utilize the hybrid skills so... save your cash for much, much later, the early loot is plenty.

I played some Brothers in Arms Hells Highway : what a fantastic game !!! Why the hell did this genre die out ? If you don't use ur squads and brains, you die, makes it really feel like a WW2 experience. Loving it , hoping the genre makes a comeback in next gen. Really hoping we get a WW2 game in CG-like graphics.i am still waiting for a Band of Brothers experience in a video game. Even if its an adventure game, ala Quantic Dream, it will do but it should feel so real that you can taste the dirt in your mouth when those mortars hit !

PLayed some UNcharted 3 Co Op Adventure today and wow, they put so much effort in this too  ! My niece n nephew spend their whole vacation playing UC3 co op(split screen) but i had never played it before and the damn game is so awesome and runs so smooth too ! I am very very impressed that they put time and effort into separate cutscenes and story for the co op mode too !

These guys have really surprised us with fab SPs, then forayed into MP with UC2 and it turned out superb. UC3 MP is not my cup of tea, but LOU MP is one the best too ! In fact, my friend, a COD addict, has quit playing MW3 and plays only LOU MP now. Poor bugger hasn't even finished the SP, got sucked into the superb MP :D . ....and I just realised the UC3 co op is so good ! No mode in any ND game this gen has been bad or mediocre !

C'mon, ND , what are you cooking for PS4 ? C'mon, let us take a peek :p !

Rangers can cast spells? That's news to me. Besides, if you primarily play as a ranger, switching to a magic class is never going to be particularly efficient because the ranger (and every other physical-damage based class for that matter) gains very little in terms of magical boost per level. Leveling up all the individual classes is still worth it for the perks (the Assassin perks kick major butt), but once any one class is maxed, you should probably revert back to your preferred way of dishing out the pain.

I bought all their stuff but haven't gotten around to try any LoU MP. What's so different and good about it ?

Sorry, "Magick Archer"s. It's been quite awhile since I played that game; forgot that the base class is called "Strider", not Ranger.

PLayed some "Remember ME" : what a "different" game :D ! Had to unlearn everything from my hands and re-learn an new fighting system. and the game "looks" beautiful once u enter the posh area.
