Uncharted 3

Gah, that looks disgustingly good. The brawling looks fun too.

Looks stunning indeed, I like it how ND changes the environment with effects and destruction, the transition looks phenomenon graphically. The lighting also seems improved as well as better shaders on the hair. Can anyone see MLAA though?

It's there.
Look any edge and try to find a normal edge crawling, there is none.
Also the edge snapping and problems with a thin edges are visible in some places. (check the pre-fire areas.)

I have to agree, the edges are very clean and some of the sub pixel aliasing seems to give it away. Game seems to be much cleaner on a whole now that I re watched some UC2 gameplay.

His face looks more squarish/masculine in the U3 trailer.

I'd blame all the growing facial hair as it has the same effect on my jaw line ;)

I like Far Cry 2 btw.......

Anyhow, yes UC3 looks graphically amazing, but some revamping in the game itself would be nice. I'm more into the series' movie-like qualities and cutscenes as opposed to the actual gameplay itself. I don't want a longer game, but I would like a "bigger" game, with some more open exploration of the environment that is less set-piece-ish in nature. I like going back through a title and seeing things I never noticed the first time around, which the first two games really provide no impetus to do except for the relics/treasures you can find. As far as the multiplayer goes, I really don't care. I'd rather see it get released as an add-on component if it makes the base game itself cheaper. I wish games would start adopting that model (despite the consumer confusion it would create).

Looks good, but I wonder why they don't use bloom for the sunlight in the first video. The overblown light looks really bad.
Personally, I hate the overblown bloom effects in games that have that effect, glad it's not as bad today as it was a couple of years ago when bloom was the new lens flare.
I'm all for more natural lighting effects instead of fake lens artifact effects like bloom.
Uncharted 3, by the way looks absolutely beautiful, too bad it's almost a year away. Guess it's time to play UC1 and 2 again while waiting....

However I think it's too early to have an idea of the quality of the graphic... I'm almost sure in the final build will see more sweet things.

Really bad? Really? Then again, you do have a tendency to downplay anything PS3 related so maybe should be expected.
Seems like you missed the first part of my post. Well done.

Bloom is a natural optical effect in human eyes. It's weird there's no bloom in a HDR renderer with eye adaptation for such a bright light.

I was clearly referring to your overblown light comment. Do keep up.
