Judging by the current talk, 500+ people from Bungie and devs from Vicarious Visions and High Moon studios [and countless other contractors] are working on a very very large and evolved version of Destiny 2. I presume the unveil will happen in the spring via Game Informer cover story and media, and then then full preview media attack at E3.

I don't see Bungie/Acti moving away from Sony partnership, so chances for a white Pro are strong.

Finally got my Ps4Pro, reviving this thread with some Pro screenshots :yep2:

Alright, the Ps4Pro version isn't as half-assed as i originally thought just watching footage. One major difference noticed immediately and i don't think it's due to the resolution bump is that hair is not dithered anymore during gameplay, two examples(all gameplay, no photomode):

That remains true even in lower lod:

The AO capsules might have gotten a bump as well but i'll have to test with base Ps4 to see, might be placebo: https://abload.de/img/uncharted4_athiefsendkopy8.png

Yup, i think my I was on point. Not only hair but anything that was dithered on normal Ps4 and left for the TAA to clean up has seen a healthy boost so far (up to chapter 4), combined with the increased render resolution and the Pro version has a much cleaner IQ both in motion and stills.

For example, I took these screenshots without photomode

And while they are not perfectly clean they are a definite step up from the base Ps4 version

Nothing of HDR can bee seen when BFI is activated. The problem is, however, that without BFI the image of an LCD or OLED is very muddy in motion. Like 300p even o UHD LCD TVs.

I would prefer BFI over HDR in any case.

Looks like a sharp screenshot on Plasma or on LCDs with enabled BFI.

Even without the brightness, 'HDR' should still have additional color depth. Or does the TV disable HDR processing once BFI is chosen?

No, but people normaly refer to higher brightness and finer gray gradations.

More colors on the TV are usually associated with Rec.2020. The problem here is that these colors are even more difficult to calibrate. Most people are already failing at Rec.709.

I'd put Horizon on top for the virtue of a much grander scope and scale while still looking as good as UC4 if not better. I'm a bit lost for words here after watching some of the Gamersyde and DF time laps vids..
