The Rydermark Thread (TM)

Ok, come on this is getting ridiculous. Has Fuad not seen the obviously unsystematic way in which the images differ? Piece of the freaking pier got hit by the filter for god's sake. How could that possibly be a shader. This is quickly leaving the realm of technical incompetence and gullibility and free falling into the depths of stupidity.
It's a waste of time, I personally wrote so many emails to Fuad trying to 'educate' him, but he does not care at all, he just does not understand or he does not want to. Sad but true.

Fudo fighting with Radar? Does it get any better?

Well, keep the popcorn maker plugged in, because I suspect it only gets more entertaining from here on out.

Thread of the year!

This is classic reluctance to accept a mistake and deal with it. "I POSTED IT, IT HAS TO BE TRUE! I MUST JUSTIFY IT!".

That reply by Fuad was just...classic, utterly unprofessional. In a very funny way :p This is turning into an interesting thread indeed.

There are some weird straight diagonal and horisontal lines in the water as well as repeating features. Looks to me like it was painted with a pseudo-random repeating texture rather than shaded...

Where's that popcorn-eating emoticon when you need it. :?:

Radar1200gs

Banned last year for being overly argumentative. Very fond of green. Very suspicious of red. Thinks Wavey is the antichrist, only with less warm and fuzzy features.

If you look at the tower at the top left of the image you can clearly see where someones done a right-shitfull job of using a smart-highlight extract tool, and done their best to remove all the traces of blue sky left in with some heavy edge blurring.

It's the kind of amateur stuff I was used to back when Photoshop 5.0 came out and I first started using it.."OMG I just extracted a part of the image....way cool! sharpen! sharpen! sharpen! sweeeeet".

Does it get any bettererer than this?

Dailtytech also links to this which looks like the source image used in some of the components.

Whilst the poster of that message is correct about the crap editing, his assertion that he's found the original image is poppycock.

Being hasty is bad and I almost always am myself, but after reading thru that guys post it looks like he might know his shit and be on to something.

I think he did find the source for a lot of the chopped pict. :)
