    Nitpicking

Namco could had at least tried to implement detail texturing on some surfaces.

It's an 800mb arcade port for online downloading, what do you expect?

Even though Tekken is a little more forgiving than VF, I suspect network latency will still kill the gameplay.

I dont care. If its done in DOAU it should be done in Tekken as well. Its better than nothing. I am not enjoying Tekken as it is now since rarely good players are around. And battling against the CPU is boring. Even with some latency I am sure I ll enjoy it more

I say just put it in. If only people with a good connection can use it, so be it. Tekken PSP does a good WiFi ad hoc / game sharing job, and infrastructure should be possible too - some internet connections these days are better than local wifi.

I hope there is very deep ranking system like Ridge Racer7.

I love how you can look at the time attack rankings in RR7 and it actually download the replays so you can watch how the top drivers made their times, and see what customizations they made to their cars.

Being able to DL fight replays from tournaments and see other people techniques would be so awesome.

Yes, that would be cool. I remember in VF you could actualy see what buttons the players were pressing, they should include that as well. I liked that feature a lot.

Wow that's great. Didn't know RR7 had that.

Yay, more good news! Definitely makes me a little happier after the DQ9 fiasco.

Two good fighters for PS3 in the first two months of next year it seems.

Does this by any chance have online play? Or is it the same as VF where lag would ruin it?

I don't think lag would necessarily ruin it (it's arguable that it would "ruin" VF, even). The PSP version had play over wifi -- I imagine this version just doesn't have it because it's a low cost port of the arcade ($15-20). I would be surprised if Tekken 6 didn't have it.
