No it's not that bad.
On horizontal movements the jaggies will show badly, this being a field rendered game, but it will not look like that screenshot, which is effectively a half resolution grab.

Stop bullshitting. I have that game, and it still looks good, in 2005! Fun game, too.

Well, from Itagaki's comments so far, it seems like he's in a rush to get DOA4 out. I suppose you could just look at the content in DOA3 compared to that in DOAU and see how great of a difference time has made (IMO, I think they've done so much more with the graphics/art direction/level designs).

I've said before what we are seeing right now with the exception of one or two games is

1) Ports from old systems (kameo , doa4 , pdz )

2) Ports from the pc (ghost recon , cod , quake 4)

3) rushed launch titles (pgr3)

This is true with all launches . We can already see a huge leap in quality from launch titles to q1 titles like gears of war . Its another 3-4 months of development time
