Max Payne is regarded as "The pits" i my local circuit. I don't eel interested either. But at that price it can't be that bad. Hmm...lets open up steam.
EDIT: Looks like there is no Max Payne 3 deal in our region :|

Ended up with Tomb Raider and Brutal Legend. TR is making me motion sick. :/
I found Brutal Legend really disappointing. It started really cool, then got weak. Tomb Raider rocks though, finished that one. It's the first game I played that actually made me want a 4k tv.
TR: Yeah, I'm playing it on a 6870 @1080p & gamepad. Looks quite nice at times although I ditched DOF & SSAO and set the shadows to low resolution, (textures & shadow quality @ ultra). There's no NewGame+ is there? Not sure I care for the somewhat restricted XP level system. Oh well.
Your region or anyone's..
Check the date in homerdog's post. It's been 3 days...
it removes the yellow filter. also the boss fights are tweaked to be possible for non combat type folks. there may be some other stuff that im missing but those were the major changes iirc.
related to steam sales i picked up last light and tomb raider, theyre both excellent.
What's up with the motion sickness? Is it a framerate thing?
http://support.2k.com/entries/27230976-BioShock-2-Steamworks-Update-Frequently-Asked-QuestionsWe wanted to address some important questions regarding the recent update to BioShock 2, which removes Games for Windows Live and implements Steamworks support.
Q: I purchased BioShock 2 on disc or digitally outside of Steam - How do I redeem my copy of the Steamworks version?
- A: There are a few simple steps to follow to get your Steam copy:
- Download and install Steam at http://store.steampowered.com/about/.
- Create a user account, or log into an existing account.
- Once you have launched Steam and created/logged in to your account, select the Games menu at the top of the window and select “Activate a Product on Steam”
- Follow the prompts and enter in your 5x5 (25-character) product activation code that came with your retail copy.
If you have already purchased BioShock 2 through a different digital partner, we’ve got you covered. Simply take the same game activation key you already own and “activate” it within Steam. Doing this will grant you access to BioShock 2, all of its multiplayer and Protector Trials DLC, as well as Minerva’s Den – the single player story-driven add-on that includes new weapons, enemies, and plasmids!
http://forums.2k.com/showthread.php?269591-3-3-GIG-Update-for-Bioshock-2-from-SteamIt was verified. Securom is removed.
Q: I don’t own BioShock 2. What do I get if I buy it on Steam/digitally now?
- A: You will unlock BioShock 2's base game, and the first three DLC packs (everything apart from Minerva's Den). You'll also have the option to buy Minerva's Den from Steam directly.
