talking about Operation C and Super Probotector from the Contra Anniversary Collection.....

I've beaten Operation C, I'd recommend the H weapon, it's always a life saver.

Super Probotector also beaten, on easy mode. I lost a lot of practice compared to when I played it intensively on emulation and I could beat the game on hard without save states, those were the days....

Speaking of Probotector, who else noticed the near exact clone of it in Cyberpunk on the arcade machines? I thought that was pretty cool.

it'd be certainly nice to give that Contra style game a try. I don't have the game yet though. I'm more into games like the first Red Dead Redemption, The Witcher, Skyrim or Elden Ring when it comes to open world games, but not into GTA or Cyberpunk 'cos of the urban setting.

Theres a Rage (the developer) bundle on steam for £5.01 this weekend but about 75% of that price is taken up by 1 game Mobile forces and it's crap
but there are some other game in the bundle that are worth buying they are all about £0.62 so really cheap
