OMG Shadow Man has just been released on Steam! (For Mac OSX also btw.)
That was absolutely one of my favorite N64 titles of all time. It was an amazingly atmospheric game, IMO. I actually mentioned shadow man to a guy I know who doesn't play any games at all, seeing as it was a bleak, overcast autumn day outside, and that's the kind of mood I remember from the game. It's been a LONG time since I played it... A long, long time. Over a decade.
It's cheap, so I bought it, naturally.

I don't like re-texturing, I think that's heresy. Games should either be played like the devs envisioned it or not at all.
(Exceptions can be made for source ports for that add enhanced graphical effects to an old title for example, but art assets should be untouched.)

i completely disagree, textures mods should aim to make the game look like it does in your head not the way it actually looked when it came out.
Guess they look different in some heads, given all the nude mods.

Finally bought SKyrim on PC. Maybe I should sell off teh ps3 version now.....
Nothing makes Skyrim fun though. Big open boring world with robot NPCs and awful combat.

Ya, mainly bought it to check out the mods and to try my hands on making something if possible. Also the fact that i can keep making it look better as my hardware changes. I tihkn I will keep my ps3 version for my lpaythrough there, will sell it when I get a ps4
Please link me some good graphical mods just for kicks
Btw, Origin has massive sales going on almost all games, including NFS and BF. I am thinking of picking up BF 2142 as. I had never played that. Do people still play it ?
