As for the new game, I guess Infamous and Sunset Overdrive shows Insomniac do city traversal well. It'll be interested to her if Sony went to Insomniac or vice versa. I guess the former.

Is absolutely shitty for gamers though, that major IP can be platform exclusive. Here's many of us wanting Nintendo to go cross-plat so we don't need to buy a Nintendo box to play Nintendo IP, and then someone ends up securing an exclusive on a property that really shouldn't be. Probably just a glitch related to the movie rights, but (non PS4) owning gamers should be protesting at Marvel. That or working on PS4 emulation on PC, to go with Switch emulation.

Avengers is multiplateform... Sony had an asset with movie right and use it.

Infamous is done by Sucker Punch, not Insomniac.

Ditto. I liked the first three Spidey films but the recent "Amazing" movies were forgettable. I loved Spidey in Civil War and if they do more of that, I'll be happy.

I doubt very much Sony's Spidey deal is exclusive, i.e. It prevents others licensing Spidey and doing their own game on whatever platforms they wish to support. This seems to be he opposite of what Marvel want.

Me too. We'll have to wait and see as it doesn't make much sense to do one Spiedy in the MCU, then another one with yet again another actor, outside of the MCU. Apparently Venom is already out of the MCU and they're still making it. What a mess.

I believe its THE MCU Spider-Man movie into infinity war movies into Sony titles with the same guy as Spider-Man. Sony will build up the world of Spider-Man with stuff like venom and black cat before the second Spider-Man movie.
